Conference format

The conference will be delivered in person, with hybrid capacity to enable attendees to attend plenary sessions virtually. Not all sessions will be virtual so it is highly encouraged to attend in person.

What to bring if attending in person

All attendees will need to bring photo identification to the conference. For security purposes, identification will be checked on each day of the conference as part of the registration process

Invitees

The 2023 Modern Slavery Conference will be a ticketed invitation-only free event.

Invitees will include representatives from government, business, civil society and academia, with additional attendees participating virtually.

All invited guests will receive an email invitation with the website link and an invitation to register.

Special access and dietary requirements

The Attorney-General’s Department welcomes individuals with disability to participate in all its activities.

You will have the opportunity in the registration form to include any special access or dietary requirements that you may have.

Media

The conference sessions will not be open to the media.

Chatham House Rule

The conference will be under Chatham House Rule to encourage open dialogue and information-sharing. Under Chatham House Rule, participants are asked to not reveal the identify (including the individual or organisation) of those that share information as either a speaker or participant in the conference.
